ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

About

Outcome driven, result orientated instructional designer with more than eight years’ experience in Moodle, various aspects of SAQA and Adobe Captivate. Strongest business and team trait is as a problem solver.

Most of my professional and career experience moves around education, ranging from being a workplace coach right through to creating engaging online courses. I have special expertise in the South African SAQA and QCTO systems, navigating them, accreditation, creating learning programs as well as facilitation and assessment.

Instructional Design

During my 8-year employment with Sondela Academy I filled various roles allowing for a wide and all-inclusive range of skills and experiences:

◦Assessor, Facilitator, and Workplace Coach

◦Learning Program creation and management

◦Personnel and learner management/guidance

◦SAQA and QCTO learner and program registration and management

◦E-Learning creation, system management as well as back-office creation and  maintenance

◦Distance learning support for learners and facilitators

Ongoing freelancing for Audit Campus and Cosmo Training Academy provided me with a whole new set of design related skills:​

◦Advanced Moodle, Adobe Captivate, Articulate and iSpring 

◦E-Learning client liaison and distance support.

When it comes to teaching, facilitating, and education in general my greatest asset is the ability to solve problems using my innate creativity, vast experiential knowledge as well as an amazing network of problem solvers and like-minded educators.​

Economic Urban Farming

Is a small not for profit organization functioning in Bela-Bela Limpopo.
Myself and two close friends started the initiative in 2019 and have over the last two years succeeded in training more than 30 individuals and building 20 backyard and community gardens.
My functions include website creation, social media management, business plan creation and updates. Proposal writing and donor liaison.
